Hawks vs. Stars: Patrick Kane's spin-o-rama goal makes it 8-1

Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

So much for that Chicago slump.

(Note: If you're wondering why the Dallas Stars don't show up in this post, it's because no Dallas Stars showed up on Saturday night for the game.)

Patrick Kane's Hart Trophy-caliber season continued on Saturday when he scored a pretty spin-o-rama goal to put the Chicago Blackhawks up 8-1 against a team from one of the southern U.S. states.

This goal pretty much sums up how easy this game has been for the Hawks tonight against the team formerly known as the North Stars. Kane received the puck and just glided untouched into the attacking zone before completely spinning around a defenseman and putting the puck in the net off his backhand. Ugly loss for the team that Mike Modano used to play for.
