NHL schedule and starting goaltenders: Bruins host Canadiens in Northeast showdown

There are four games scheduled in the NHL on Wednesday night. Here's a look at the schedule and the starting goalie match-ups.

There are four games in the NHL on Wednesday night, with three games in the Western Conference and a single game in the East.

The lone Eastern Conference contest will feature a Northeast Division battle between the Boston Bruins and Montreal Canadiens. The two teams enter the night tied atop the division with 45 points and the winner will take over sole possession of the top spot. Boston currently holds the position after Montreal lost to the Pittsburgh Penguins on Tuesday night.

In the West, the Minnesota Wild will host the Phoenix Coyotes, the Colorado Avalanche will challenge the Calgary Flames and the Anaheim Ducks will conclude a home-and-home with the San Jose Sharks.
