Bruce Fedyck - USA TODAY Sports

The Toronto Maple Leafs (13-9-0, 26 points) will host the New Jersey Devils (10-6-5, 25 points) at Air Canada Centre on Monday night.

It will mark the first of three meetings between the teams this season.

New Jersey will be entering the contest in a difficult position. Failing to record a win in their last four games (0-3-1 over that span), the club will be without the services of goaltender Martin Brodeur due to an injury he sustained during warmups on Feb. 23 prior to a game against the Washington Capitals. That contest marked the beginning of the club's four-game winless streak, which has seen the team outscored 16-7 over that span.

In addition to ending the slide, New Jersey will look for their first victory of the season against an opponent from the Northeast Division. In four games against the other members of the grouping, the Devils have compiled an 0-0-4 record.

Toronto will enter the contest off a 5-4 overtime victory against the New York Islanders last Thursday. Nazem Kadri recorded a hat trick and captain Dion Phaneuf provided the game-winning goal. Monday night's game will mark the third contest against an Atlantic Division opponent over the team's last four games. The Maple Leafs have recorded victories in both games and have compiled an overall record of 4-2-0 against the Atlantic this season.

Monday night's game is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m., ET and will be televised on MSG PLUS and SNET-O.
