Rangers vs. Maple Leafs: Ryan McDonagh out-dekes Nazem Kadri

USA TODAY Sports

The Rangers got an assist from the linesman on their second goal.

The Rangers combined luck and skill for their second goal on Wednesday. All Leafs defenseman John Michael-Liles had to do was clear the puck and the Leafs would be that much closer to escaping the second period tied at 1-1.

Alas, the puck went off the linesman and all hell broke loose. New York immediately rushed in with numbers, and Ryan McDonagh put a sweet deke on Nazem Kadri to get past him and put a shot on net. The puck somehow made it through the bodies in front the Rangers took the lead.

For all of you nonsensical "Brendan Shanahan is making the officials and the league pro-Rangers" conspiracy theorists out there, this one is low-hanging fruit.
