LeBlanc will join the Blackhawks immediately.

Drew LeBlanc is having quite the day.

Hours after accepting the 2013 Hobey Baker Award as the best player in college hockey, the senior forward of St. Cloud State signed a one-year contract with the Chicago Blackhawks on Friday evening.

The 23-year-old bounced back from a compound fracture last year to register 13 goals and 50 points for St. Cloud State, and he will reportedly join the Blackhawks immediately for their playoff run.
