Wild vs. Blue Jackets: Charlie Coyle ejected for hit on Artem Anisimov

Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

Will Coyle face discipline for the hit?

Well, hopefully Charlie Coyle enjoyed his time on the ice Saturday.

The Wild rookie lasted just 17 seconds before he was tossed from the game for targeting the head of Artem Anisimov. Anisimov didn't appear to be hurt, and it didn't look like Coyle had any ill intent on the hit, but he was given a five-minute major and a game misconduct by the officials.

What do you think? Will Coyle face any discipline from the league?

UPDATE: Looks like Anisimov WAS injured on the play, and he will not return to the game with an "upper body injury."
