Joffrey Lupul will be available to play for the Toronto Maple Leafs on Monday night. However, he is currently listed as a game-time decision.

Toronto Maple Leafs forward Joffrey Lupul will be available to play against the New Jersey Devils on Monday night, according to head coach Randy Carlyle.

Lupul sustained a concussion in a game against the Philadelphia Flyers on April 4 when he was hit by Adam Hall and Jay Rosehill. The Maple Leafs forward appeared disoriented after the play and was unable to return to the game.

In the following days, the Maple Leafs stated that Lupul had not sustained a concussion and expressed that the organization was more concerned about whiplash. Ultimately, it was determined that their initial diagnosis was incorrect.

Lupul was able to return to practice on Friday but had not been cleared for contact. He last experienced concussion-like symptoms on Tuesday and has been able to skate in four consecutive days without any issue beginning on Thursday. Carlyle stated on Monday afternoon that the forward would be a game-time decision and would need to feel 110 percent in order to play.

The team is expected to make an announcement on his status later on Monday afternoon.
