Canucks vs. Predators: Alex Edler elbows Mattias Ekholm

Jonathan Daniel

No penalties were called on the play.

Alexander Edler got away with a dangerous play on Monday, but will he get off scot-free in the long run?

Edler seemed to target the head of Mattias Ekholm on a scary elbow to the head late in the second period against Nashville, but no penalty was called on the play. The officials seemed to completely miss it, even as Ekholm skated off to the Predators bench in obvious discomfort.

Will Brendan Shanahan dish out any discipline to Edler for the play?
