Rangers vs. Sabres: Brad Richards nets a hat trick

USA TODAY Sports

The Sabres got routed.

I'm pretty sure a wet Kleenex would do a better job of keeping the puck out of the net for Buffalo than Jhonas Enroth or Ryan Miller have on Friday.

The Rangers put up eight goals on 29 shots and beat Buffalo, 8-4, on Friday. For the record, both Enroth and Miller gave up four goals. Three of them belong to Brad Richards, who scored his first hat trick in 896 career games in the league. His last goal was a softie, beating Enroth from just under the Buffalo blueline.

Die By The Blade sums it up.
