There are six games in the NHL on Friday night, with two games in the Eastern Conference and four games in the West.

The New York Rangers and Pittsburgh Penguins will meet for the second time in three days when they complete the tail-end of a home-and-home on Friday night. Pittsburgh has struggled in their last two games, being outscored by their opponents, 10-3.

The Columbus Blue Jackets will regain control of the eighth seed in the Western Conference with a regulation victory over the St. Louis Blues, while the San Jose Sharks look to take over the fourth seed with a win against the Calgary Flames.
