After a surprise offensive outburst from Cody Franson early in the game, t came into the third period trailing by a single goal. It didn't take long, though, for the game to get away from them. The Bruins were stunned only 2:09 into the final frame by a Phil Kessel goal that put them down by two:

As time ticked away in the final period, the Bruins slowly clawed their way back into it. Nathan Horton scored midway through the period, and Milan Lucic would get another goal with under two minutes remaining.
