Entering the semifinal round of the 2013 Stanley Cup playoffs, the Chicago Blackhawks and Pittsburgh Penguins are considered the favorites to win the Cup.
The Chicago Blackhawks and Pittsburgh Penguins are considered co-favorites to win the Stanley Cup entering the semifinal round of the 2013 NHL playoffs, according to the oddsmakers at Bovada.
The two No. 1 seeds are given 5/2 odds of winning the championship followed by the Los Angeles Kings (7/1), San Jose Sharks (15/2), Boston Bruins (8/1) and New York Rangers (8/1). The Detroit Red Wings and Ottawa Senators are both given 15/1 odds of winning the Stanley Cup.
In terms of conference lines, the Penguins are given a line of 10/11 to win the East. The Bruins are set at 13/4, while the Rangers are at 4/1 and the Senators at 13/2. Chicago is given a line of 10/11 to win the West, followed by the Kings at 13/4, the Sharks at 7/2 and the Red Wings at 13/2.
Corey Crawford of the Blackhawks and Evgeni Malkin of the Penguins are both given 17/2 odds of winning the Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP. Sidney Crosby is third with a line of 10/1.
