Chris Kreider welcomes Dennis Seidenberg back to the playoffs

Alex Trautwig

On second thought, maybe sitting out was a good idea.

After suffering an injury in Game 7 of the Boston Bruins' first-round win over the Toronto Maple Leafs, Bruins defenseman Dennis Seidenberg didn't appear in the first four games of their series with the New York Rangers.

He returned to the lineup for Game 5, but now maybe he's wishing he waited a little longer:

That's 6'3, 226 lbs. Rangers winger Chris Kreider knocking him on his seat. Seidenberg was able to get up and continue his shift, but he was hunched over and suddenly not so eager to go back to the boards.
