2013 Stanley Cup Final GIF recap: Dave Bolland's bad night

Divine blessing? - Harry How

Dave Bolland and the Blackhawks didn't look very good at all in Game 3's 2-0 loss to the Bruins.

Game 3 between the Chicago Blackhawks and Boston Bruins got off to a rousing, Boston-style opening:

There were no goals in the first period, but Brad Marchand did have a good chance. He didn't score though, and his poor stick paid the price:

Game 2's hero, Daniel Paille, scored what would eventually be Game 3's winner after stripping the puck from Dave Bolland:

Bolland's bad night continued after he took a minor penalty that gave the Bruins a 5-on-3 power play and another goal:

Meanwhile, a Boston fan mocked Pierre McGuire, who was busy talking about some stuff (probably how poorly Dave Bolland was playing):

Patrick Kane couldn't finish on a 3-on-1 as the Blackhawks blew pretty much their only decent 3rd-period chance:

Dave Bolland isn't in the above GIF, but rest assured he was probably busy making some serious mistakes somewhere.

As time wound down, the frustrated Blackhawks responded by turning up the physicality:

But it didn't really work out that well for all of them:

Game 4 is in Boston on Wednesday night.
