The NHL announced today that all high-sticking calls will be reviewed next season. You have to imagine the call on Duncan Keith in Game 3 would be an exception to that.
Keith was incensed with Jeff Carter after the Kings' forward jousted with him and took his stick near the Chicago net. As Carter skated by Keith while he retrieved his stick, Keith reached up and hacked him in the face.
Keith got four minutes for high sticking, but he's lucky he wasn't ejected. For what it's worth, Keith immediately skated up to Carter and offered a sincere apology.
