The Hockey Hall of Fame will announce the members of the 2013 class on Tuesday. A maximum of four players can be elected. The final results are expected to be announced at 3 p.m. ET.

The Hockey Hall of Fame will be announcing the members of the 2013 class on Tuesday afternoon. Eligible candidates will be voted upon by an 18-member selection committee that meets in Toronto to debate an individual's merit as a potential member of hockey's most exclusive club.

A maximum of four players are permitted to be enshrined in a given year. In order to achieve such a status, the candidate will need to appear on 75 percent of the selection committee members' ballots. The Hall of Fame guides voters to judge eligible players based upon ability, character, sportsmanship and contributions to their team(s), as well as the game as a whole. The vote is conducted via secret ballot, which allots a maximum of four votes (in the player category) per committee member.
