New Jersey Devils forward Jaromir Jagr is experiencing lower-body soreness and will be withheld from team practice for an undisclosed period of time, manager Lou Lamoriello stated on Friday afternoon.
Jagr left practice due to a lower-body issue on Thursday. As of this writing, the team has yet to announce what specifically is bothering Jagr, but he has had issues with his groin in recent seasons. Lamoriello stated that Jagr will not be skating with the team, but will participate on light skates on his own.
Lamoriello expressed that the Devils are not concerned about the issue and that no timetable has been determined for a return.
