1. Can Dallas stop John Tavares?
The Isles captain had a hat trick and five points in New York's win over the Stars last week. He pretty much had his way with Dallas's young blueline, and another big game would mean a sixth straight loss for the Stars.
2. Will Jaromir Jagr pass Mark Messier?
A day after leap-frogging Mario Lemieux for seventh on the all-time points leaderboard, the ageless wonder is just one goal shy of passing Messier for the seventh most goals in NHL history. It's a good bet he'll get it on Sunday against a Leafs squad that's leaking goals.
3. Can Philly tighten up defensively, or will Steve Mason have to bail them out?
The Flyers called their defensive performance in front of Mason on Saturday garbage, and you can't really disagree with them. Unfortunately they don't have much time to regroup with a visit to New York on Sunday. The Rangers' power play (especially Brad Richards and Rick Nash) is piping hot and ready to pounce when Philly makes a mistake.
4. Can Edmonton build off their big win?
The Oilers surprised everyone this week when they beat the Penguins at home on Friday. Now they get to face the other best team in the NHL when they visit the Blackhawks. They're catching them at a good time: Chicago is just 2-1-4 in their last seven games.
5. Will Cody Hodgson and Ville Leino make an impact?
Buffalo is well out of the race at this point, but the Sabres are picking up points at a steadier pace and get their two best scorers back in the lineup on Sunday.
