Carter Hutton robs Michael Raffl with diving glove save

Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

Carter Hutton was behind the net and out of position, and then he made one of the best saves of the year.

With the addition of Devan Dubnyk on Wednesday, Nashville Predators goalie Carter Hutton is going to have to be on top of his game to keep getting playing time.

Saves like this against Michael Raffl in the second period against the Philadelphia Flyers on Thursday will certainly help.

That could have been disaster for the Predators as an innocent dump-in took a weird bounce off the boards and went right to Raffl as Hutton was still behind the net.

From there, a sure goal turned into one of the best saves of the season.

Hockey is fun.
