A veteran move, indeed.

You don't usually see breakaway opportunities during outdoor games. The snowy conditions and occasionally rough ice surface typically combine to neutralize end-to-end hockey.

But when you do get a breakaway, you better bury it like Patrik Elias did to give New Jersey an early 1-0 lead against the Rangers.
