Avalanche fan is concerned after Jordan Nolan whiffs on check, crashes into boards

Don't worry, Jordan Nolan is going to be OK after this failed check.

Midway through the second period on Wednesday, Los Angeles Kings forward Jordan Nolan attempted to deliver an open-ice hit on Colorado's Patrick Bordeleau.

It did not go well.

Bordeleau successfully dodged the hit causing Nolan to crash into the boards. He immediately exited the game and went to the locker room before returning later in the period. The latter part is good news, not only for Nolan and the Kings, but also for the Avalanche fan sitting behind Darryl Sutter that was clearly freaked out watching what we can only imagine was the replay of Nolan smashing his face into the wall.
