Sometimes it's tough being the new guy.
After scoring 26 goals in 60 games for the Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League, Detroit Red Wings prospect Teemu Pulkkinen is getting his first taste of life in the NHL due to the growing list of injuries on the big club.
Trouble is, those injuries and the number of players taking up space in the locker room forced the Red Wings to give Pulkkinen a rather strange locker room stall: A folding chair next to the hallway and a name plate that is resting on top of the thermostat.

And you better not even think about changing the temperature while you're sitting there, young man.
But hey, look on the bright side: At least he got his name on the nameplate, which is more than some players can say when they arrive on a new team.
