Brandon Saad is a magician with the puck

Jonathan Daniel

Young, cheap talent like Brandon Saad is a big reason why Chicago has been able to stay so dominant.

Superstars like Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews are not the only reason the Chicago Blackhawks have become the dominant team in the NHL over the past four years. It's also because of their ability to develop cheap, young talent that can complement the stars.

The best of that bunch right now is former second-round pick Brandon Saad, who continues to develop into a star himself.

Here he is on Thursday in Chicago's blowout performance against Columbus setting up Toews with some nifty puckhandling through the Columbus defense.
