Panthers' Tim Thomas bobblehead night missing actual Tim Thomas

They couldn't have canceled?

Time to put the Florida Panthers' promotions team under the microscope after a rather amusing blunder on Sunday.

You see, Sunday's game between the Panthers and Boston Bruins is also Tim Thomas bobblehead night. It's a great chance for young fans to collect something to remember their favorite Panthers goalie by.

Except Tim Thomas was traded to the Dallas Stars on Wednesday. Oops.

Not sure how the Panthers didn't scrap this idea, but I guess they had to get rid of those bobbleheads somehow. They made up for it by giving away Roberto Luongo posters, so good for them.

But the Dallas Stars couldn't leave this alone. The NHL's resident Twitter snark masters took aim at the Panthers after the debacle.
