Since the NHL returned to Winnipeg three years ago, Jets fans have made a habit out of picking one player on the opposing roster (usually the best player) and spending their night doing whatever they can to throw him off his game.
On Monday, it was Minnesota Wild goalie Ilya Bryzgalov. Seeing as how Bryzgalov once said he wouldn't want to play in Winnipeg for a variety of reasons, including the city's lack of parks, that is not really a surprise. Also not a surprise: Bryzgalov seemed to embrace the whole thing, and even went as far as asking for more ... while the Wild were defending with the puck in the defensive zone.
That is the most Bryzgalov thing ever.
He ended up stopping all 24 shots he faced for his second straight shutout in Minnesota's 1-0 win.
