There's little doubt the New York Rangers are at their best when Henrik Lundqvist is playing at the top of his game. The veteran netminder has shined at times throughout the 2014 NHL Playoffs and put on another great show in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
He was spectacular early on, keeping the Canadiens off the board for the better part of the first two periods. Rene Bourque finally scored on him late in the second period, but before that Lundqvist was busy flashing his glove at every puck that came his way.
Are hockey players eligible for Gold Gloves?
No? Well then Lundqvist will just have to settle for applause and a probable Game 1 win in style.
