Jonathan Quick robs Devante Smith-Pelley in Game 1

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

Quick more than made up for an allowed goal in the first period.

Los Angeles Kings goaltender Jonathan Quick would probably like a do-over in Game 1.

The Anaheim Ducks tied the game at 1-1 when captain Ryan Getzlaf completely confused Quick and set up a Matt Beleskey goal in the first period. Frankly, Getzlaf made Quick look embarrassing on the play.

But Quick is a former Conn Smythe winner, so it's no surprise that he rebounded by making one of the best saves of the playoffs on Ducks forward Devante Smith-Pelley.

Quicksave

Now that's more like the Jonathan Quick we know. The Kings will need him to keep playing spectacularly, as the Ducks are charging hard and fast so far in Game 1.
