Jonathan Quick and Corey Crawford bump masks going off ice

We were THIS CLOSE to a goalie fight.

Jonathan Quick was in a pretty bad mood after the second period on Friday night.

He not only surrendered two goals earlier in the period, but as it was coming to an end he was run over by Blackhawks forward Andrew Shaw, a play that resulted in no penalty. As the two teams skated off the ice and headed to their locker rooms, Quick and Blackhawks goalie Corey Crawford had a little encounter at center ice.

Pleasantries were likely exchanged, helmets were touched, excitement was building.

And we were that close to a goalie fight in the 2014 playoffs. Maybe next time, fellas.
