The box score will show that St. Louis Blues goalie Brian Elliott got pulled briefly in the first period after allowing three quick goals. But you can't really blame him, considering the puck looked like someone cast a spell on it before the game.
On one of the three goals, Elliott had to deal with one of the most evasive pucks you'll ever see. Elliott couldn't snatch a shot from the point and the puck magically bounced around him until Teuvo Teravainen deposited it in the back of the net.
That's the hockey equivalent of a cat trying to pounce on a string dangling in front of him. Apparently his coach felt pity for Elliott, because he returned to the net in a 3-1 game after a few minutes on the bench.
