Steven Stamkos chose the wrong guy to plant face-first into the boards.
The Lightning captain is known more for his offensive prowess than his physicality, but he caught Rangers winger Chris Kreider unawares with a nasty hit from behind in the first period of Game 6. Stamkos got away without a penalty, and thought it would be a good idea to go in for seconds.
Unfortunately for Stamkos, Kreider is a large man. And he saw him coming.
Whoops. Let's try not to get greedy from now on, Stamkos. For your team's sake.
