(Sports Network) - The Toronto Maple Leafs will try to post their fourth win in five games when they visit the Columbus Blue Jackets for tonight's battle at Nationwide Arena.

In addition to winning three of their last four games, the Maple Leafs have suffered just one regulation loss while going 4-1-1 over their last six outings.

Toronto kicked off a three-game road trip Monday against the rival Montreal Canadiens and recorded a 3-0 victory at Bell Centre. Jonas Gustavsson and Joey MacDonald combined to stop all 26 shots they faced to lead the Leafs to the shutout win.

Gustavsson started, but was taken to the hospital following the first period with an elevated heart rate. The rookie stopped all eight shots the Habs sent his way and was credited with his sixth win of the season. MacDonald played the final 40 minutes and was a perfect 18-for-18.

Gustavsson, who is 6-5-5 with a 3.14 goals-against average on the year, flew back to Toronto on Wednesday to see cardiac specialists and is out indefinitely. MacDonald will get the start in net tonight.

Colton Orr, Jeff Finger and Matt Stajan each tallied for the Maple Leafs in Monday's win.

Phil Kessel added two assists for Toronto, which has recorded five of its seven wins this season on the road. The Leafs are 5-5-4 as the guest this year and will close their trip Saturday in Boston.

Columbus comes into tonight with just one win in its last seven games, but the club has recorded a point in three straight outings (1-0-2).

The Blue Jackets wound up on the losing end of an epic shootout battle their last time out, as Chicago notched a 4-3 victory Tuesday in the Windy City.

Brent Seabrook scored in the 11th round of the shootout to end the game. Columbus had the first chance in the 11th round, but Cristobal Huet made a right pad save on Jason Chimera's shot after the deke. Seabrook then skated in and went to the backhand before lifting it past Steve Mason for the win.

Kris Russell and Antoine Vermette each had a goal and an assist while Samuel Pahlsson also scored for the Blue Jackets. Mason stopped 23 shots in the loss.

Columbus is expected to get forward Andrew Murray back tonight after he missed the last 20 games with a torn muscle in his shoulder. However, defenseman Marc Methot is doubtful for tonight after missing the last two games with an upper- body injury.

The Jackets are 7-2-3 as the host this year and are kicking off a three-game homestand tonight. Columbus will also welcome Colorado and Florida during the residency.

Toronto and the Blue Jackets met once in 2008-09 and Columbus recorded a 4-3 shootout win in Ontario to end a three-game losing streak against the Leafs.
