Sunrise, FL (Sports Network) - Radek Dvorak recorded a hat trick and Tomas Vokoun made 48 saves, as the Florida Panthers defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins, 6-2, at BankAtlantic Center.

Jordan Leopold, Rostislav Olesz and Steven Reinprecht also scored for the Panthers, who snapped a three-game losing streak.

Sidney Crosby and Tyler Kennedy lit the lamp for Pittsburgh, which has dropped five consecutive games and six of seven overall -- all in regulation. Marc- Andre Fleury surrendered five goals on 34 shots in defeat.

Pittsburgh raced out to a 2-0 lead in the first period, but the Panthers got on the board when Leopold's one-timer from the point slid underneath the left pad of Fleury with 1:03 remaining in the opening frame.

Dvorak and Olesz scored 62 seconds apart late in the middle stanza for a 3-2 Florida edge.

Reinprecht gave the Panthers a two-goal edge at the 8:11 mark of the third period, then Dvorak netted his second of the game with 6:52 remaining. He completed the trifecta with an empty-net tally in the waning moments of regulation.
