Ottawa, ON (Sports Network) - Tomas Vokoun stopped all 24 shots that he faced to pick up his fourth shutout of the season, as the Florida Panthers defeated the Ottawa Senators, 3-0, at Scotiabank Place.

Vokoun recorded the 35th shutout of his career for the Panthers, who ended a three-game road trip with a 1-2-0 mark. Rostislav Olesz scored a pair of goals, and Nathan Horton also lit the lamp for the victors.

"Every win is huge for us. We got to win more than one and lose one if we want to go anywhere. It's a big win for us," Vokoun said.

Brian Elliott turned aside 16-of-19 shots for the Senators, who have dropped three consecutive games.

The Panthers drew first blood at the 11:54 mark of the first period, when Horton knocked home a rebound off a Dennis Seidenberg shot.

Vokoun needed to make just four stops in the first period to keep Florida ahead by one heading to the second.

Olesz created some breathing room with a pair of goals in the second. scoring at 13:45 and 16:08 to make it 3-0.

Vokoun made eight and 12 saves over the second and third frames, respectively, to seal the victory for the Panthers.

"There is no easy night. We got to, especially now hitting the road, just keep our game really simple," Ottawa forward Mike Fisher said.

Florida went 0-for-5 on the power play, while the Senators went 0-for-4 with the man advantage...Ottawa beat the Panthers, 4-3, in Florida on October 28.
