Denver, CO (Sports Network) - David Legwand scored the game-winner with 1:53 remaining in overtime, as the Nashville Predators notched their seventh straight win, edging the Colorado Avalanche, 4-3, at Pepsi Center.

In the extra session, Legwand found a loose puck down low and fired a shot over the pad of Craig Anderson and inside the left post.

"I just got the puck on the net and a good thing happened," Legwand said.

J.P. Dumont, Marcel Goc and Shea Weber also scored for the Predators, who have not lost since November 10 at San Jose. Pekka Rinne made 19 saves for the win.

Milan Hejduk, Marek Svatos and Ryan Wilson each had a goal for the Avalanche, who have dropped six of their last eight games. Anderson stopped 23 shots in defeat.

"They just kept throwing pucks at the net. I didn't see how it went through," Anderson said of Legwand's goal.

Colorado fell behind 2-0 in the first period, but scored three unanswered goals in the middle frame.

Wilson put the Avalanche on the board, taking a feed from Hejduk in stride along the left-wing boards and snapping a wrister past the glove hand of Rinne at the 3:39 mark.

Colorado drew even on a power-play tally by Hejduk at 11:12 and seized the lead when Svatos accepted a drop pass from Chris Stewart and beat Rinne with 5:25 remaining.

Nashville tied the game on Weber's blast from the point with 1:53 left in the second and Svatos serving an interference penalty.

The Predators opened the scoring three minutes into the contest on a power- play marker by Dumont. Goc lit the lamp at 10:52 off a feed from Martin Erat.
