St. Paul, MN (Sports Network) - Andy McDonald scored a pair of goals to lead the St. Louis Blues past the Minnesota Wild, 4-1, in preseason action.
Alexander Steen and Patrik Berglund each scored a goal for the Blues, who went 3-for-4 on the power play. Ty Conklin stopped 7-of-8 shots and Chris Mason turned aside all 10 shots he faced for the victors.
Eric Belanger scored the lone goal for the Wild, who went 1-for-6 on the power play. Niklas Backstrom allowed four goals on 21 shots in defeat.
