Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - Robert Klinkhammer scored the game-winning goal with 5:20 to play in the third period to lift the Chicago Blackhawks past the Minnesota Wild, 4-3, in preseason action at United Center.
Patrick Kane scored a pair of goals for the Blackhawks, who finished the preseason with a 1-3 mark. Colin Fraser scored a goal while Brent Seabrook and Tomas Kopecky added two assists apiece for Chicago, which starts the regular season on Friday, October 2 versus Florida.
Cristobal Huet stopped 16-of-19 shots in the win.
Brent Burns, James Sheppard, and Martin Havlat each scored a goal for the Wild. Josh Harding turned aside 28-of-32 shots in defeat.
