Just as the Nashville Predators got David Legwand back in the lineup, another key center goes down with a serious leg injury.

There's been a lot of talk lately about the importance of the first goal for the Nashville Predators of late, but tonight they rebounded after giving up a 1-0 lead to Columbus just 37 seconds into the game, and pulled away with a 4-1 win at Bridgestone Arena.

The Nashville Predators look to build on their win against the Minnesota Wild, with a matchup late this afternoon at home against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Columbus, often viewed as the weak younger brother in the Central Division, is actually one point ahead of the Predators in the standings. Along with picking up some momentum in one of just three home games this month, Nashville really needs to pick up points against their rivals.
