Ken Hitchcock went into Columbus for the first of six meetings with his former team this season, but it would be another ex-Blue Jacket who made the biggest play for the St. Louis Blues.
The Jackets welcomed head coach Ken Hitchcock back to Columbus, and he was happy to leave with two points after a tight goaltending battle.
The burgeoning rivalry between the Blues and the Blue Jackets adds fuel with Hitchcock, Russell, Nikitin, and Sanford all having history with their opponents tonight. Should be fun.

The St. Louis Blues play the Calgary Flames on Friday, and then face the struggling the Columbus Blue Jackets on Sunday.
