Let's forget about the Pacific Division for a bit. It's a nice thought, it would be really great to have happen, but for the Dallas Stars their sole focus needs to be on getting to the playoffs....
Some have said this game is meaningless tonight, but a chance to move the Canucks into 1st overall AND eliminate the Flames? A win (with a little help) would do just that.

I am not going to sit here and mock the Flames because their playoff dreams are once again squashed. I'm not gonna kick the team and their fanbase while they are down.
The Canucks took advantage of some shoddy Dallas defense to drop the Stars back into the pack with four games left.
The Canucks can move to within one point of league leading St Louis tonight with a win over Dallas, and throw a wrench into the Stars aspirations. Wait a sec, weren't the Canucks supposed to not have a shot at doing this again?
