Cats stand ground in come-from-behind win against Western leader
The hills are alive with the sounds of Bruins... complaining, threatening and as usual trying to explain why they're once again the victims in an on-ice incident that's left an opposition player injured. Oh and the Canucks play Florida tonight...
Some old friends visit Sunrise tonight with the Vancouver Canucks. The Canucks are first in the Western Conference and one point behind the league leading Rangers, while the Panthers have seen their eight point division lead shrink to three.
Florida's Stephen Weiss remains 1 assist away from becoming the Panthers' all-time leader (232); he's scoreless in two games since January 1st. Against tonight's opponent Weiss has logged 5 points...
Now a matchup against a team that the Canucks rarely play against and really have no emotional ties to, except for the former Canucks that play there and Panthers that play for Van.
It was a great day for hockey and the Canucks - Bruins game lived up to / exceeded the hype.
