Predators 4, Flyers 2: Nashville withstands Philly barrage

The Nashville Predators earned another win on home ice tonight, beating the Philadelphia Flyers 4-2 thanks to 36 saves from Pekka Rinne, and two-point nights from Mike Fisher, Martin Erat and Sergei Kostitsyn, who each chipped in a goal and an assist.

Saturday's notes: Carcillo & DiPietro out for rest of NHL season

Injuries continue to be the talk of the NHL these days, especially with this morning's report that Philadelphia Flyers forward James van Riemsdyk will be out indefinitely with a concussion, starting with tonight's game against the Predators.
