Assets
  • His skating sets him apart from the pack, thanks to great lower-body strength, quickness and balance. Is also a natural scorer who has the shot, smarts, focus and instincts to produce at any level. Can play all three forward positions effectively. Very determined and elusive on skates, he isn't afraid of the rough going.
Flaws
  • Lacks the ideal setup skills usually associated with the center position, so his NHL future lies mostly as a winger. Also, getting stronger upstairs will only help him since he likes to bob and weave in heavy traffic areas.
