Assets
  • Has a goal-scorer's mentality, creative instincts, solid offensive acumen, good hands and a great shot, too. Is big enough to handle himself against big NHL defensemen; he does an effective job in the slot. Can play either wing.
Flaws
  • Tends to disappear for stretches, especially from the score sheet. Isn't a great skater, which limits his overall effectiveness. Needs to keep his battle level on high in order to produce. Has had to endure serious injuries.
