Red Wings claim Drew Miller off waivers

Detroit, MI (Sports Network) - The Detroit Red Wings have claimed forward Drew Miller off waivers from the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Miller, whose brother Ryan is a goaltender with Buffalo, did not register a point in 14 games with the Lightning this season.
The 25-year-old New Jersey native has six goals and nine assists for 15 points in 67 career NHL games over parts of four seasons with Tampa Bay and Anaheim. He played three seasons with Michigan State before being selected by the Ducks in the sixth round of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
