Mikael Granlund has finally signed with the Minnesota Wild. The top prospect might be just the player the Wild need to avoid another mid-season let down next year.
The Minnesota Wild didn't win the 2012 NHL Draft Lottery, unfortunately, and will pick seventh this season. The Edmonton Oilers have the first overall pick once again.
Minnesota ended its 2011-12 regular season schedule with a 4-1 defeat at the hands of Phoenix.
