NFL Betting Trends Favor Tampa, Cincinnati, Colts in Week 7 Odds

US PRESSWIRE

NFL trends favor Week 7 underdogs like the Buccaneers and Colts. See the numbers that make the odds interesting this Sunday.

The Atlanta Falcons are 7-2 SU in their last nine games against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but that straight up success hasn't translated to success against the spread.

And when it comes to hosting their NFC South rivals, the money situation is even grimmer for the Falcons.

Atlanta is a money-losing 3-5-1 ATS over that nine-game stretch and are 3-8-1 ATS over their last 12 games against the Buccaneers.

In their last 15 trips to Atlanta, the Bucs are 11-4 ATS. Tampa Bay was a 7-point underdog at most sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com - plenty of room for the winless Bucs to cover.

It's one of many Week 7 NFL betting trends that have caught the eye - and wallet - of bettors. The long-awaiting Denver vs Indianapolis tilt featuring Peyton Manning's return is another game with trends favoring the underdog.

The Colts are 7-0 ATS in seven recent games as a home dog. And they are 5-0 ATS against the Broncos, who were favored by a TD at most shops as of Friday.

The Cincinnati Bengals are a 2.5-point underdog visiting the Detroit Lions this week. Since 1983, the Bengals have played against the Lions eight times and own a 7-1 SU and ATS record in those games.

The total has gone OVER in seven of the last eight games that the Detroit Lions have been favored at home.

Offense could be at the forefront when the Jacksonville Jaguars host the San Diego Chargers this Sunday. In five meetings all-time between the Jags and the Chargers, the OVER is a perfect 5-0.

San Diego heads into its bye week next week, and over the last 14 seasons the OVER is 13-1 in Chargers games leading into a bye week.

The total was set at 45 points and San Diego was a 7-point road favorite at 5Dimes.eu.

The Dolphins are 7-3 SU and ATS in their last 10 games against the Buffalo Bills and are hosting the Bills this Sunday as a 7-point favorite at home. Buffalo has not fared well as a road underdog of late with a 2-9 ATS record in its last 11 games as a road dog.

The total has gone UNDER in five of Miami's last six games coming off a bye week and in six of Miami's last seven home games against Buffalo.

Playing on the road against the New York Jets hasn't bothered the New England Patriots over the last 14 years. The Patriots are 11-3 SU and 12-2 ATS in their last 14 road games against the Jets and enter this Sunday's game as a 3.5-point road favorite.

The total has gone OVER in seven of the last eight meetings between these two division rivals.
