NFL betting trends: Week 9 odds impact

Green Bay is riding a perfect 8-0 ATS streak. The Bills are riding a 6-0 ATS streak. See the latest Week 9 NFL betting trends from Odds Shark.

Many observers feel the Bengals deserve more respect than the three points oddsmakers are showing them in their Thursday night battle at Miami.

But the trends -- especially head-to-head -- indicate bettors should use caution here as Week 9 NFL betting kicks off.

The Dolphins have lost four straight and badly need a bounce game at home against Cincy. And they are 10-2 SU against the Bengals and 9-3 ATS since 1980, according to the Week 9 NFL trends report from Odds Shark.

It's one of many Week 9 games where trends indicate bettors should look twice before putting down their money. A lot of teams are coming off bye weeks and four more are heading into bye weeks, and these are important handicapping considerations.

Those focused on NFL over-under betting see plenty of intriguing angles, especially in the Colts-Texans battle where most of the angles point UNDER.

Post-bye week teams - Chicago Bears, Tennessee Titans, Indianapolis Colts, San Diego Chargers, Baltimore Ravens, Houston Texans

Pre-bye week teams - Cleveland Browns, Kansas City Chiefs, New England Patriots, New York Jets
