This is the oldest and most well-known of the three Olympic sledding sports. It’s recognizable by the fact that it features two or four people packed together in a single metal sled, and was shamed for all-times in the film Cool Runnings. In the two-person event, one steers, one breaks. In the four-person version, one steers, one breaks and the other two just needed a lift to the bottom of the hill.
