Juventus and Inter face off on Saturday evening, while on Sunday almost everyone else struggles to prove where they belong in the Serie A standings.
Hello, and welcome to fake derby week in Serie A! That's right, in Round 11 we celebrate the Derby d'Italia, a match played between two clubs located about 150km apart. Google Maps would also like you to note that there are toll roads between Milan and Turin, so if you're road-tripping from Milano, take some spare Euros.
It might not be a true derby in the sense that those from tiny, football loving countries are used to, but the match between Juventus and Inter can certainly hold its own in the rivalry stakes. Stay tuned, we'll be bringing you more on Saturday's big match.
As for the rest, well, there's not another match that really draws the eye, although many could be entertaining. Napoli absolutely must win against Torino if they want to have any hope of staying in the scudetto race. Roma should finally be able to find a win against Palermo, but it's always amusing to see how desperately they try to lose. Chievo won't make it easy on Milan on Saturday; neither will Catania against Lazio on Sunday. If things go right against a Cagliari that's finally looking good, Fiorentina could find themselves in fourth.
