Juventus Vs. Napoli: Final score 2-0 as Juve score two in two minutes

Juventus Vs. Napoli: Scoreless at the break

It may be scoreless at the break, but there's been no shortage of drama in the match between Juventus and Napoli. The two sides have toned it down just a bit from the SuperCoppa final in August, but the fouls and antics are still thick on the ground. Juve have come off worse for the wear, with Leondardo Bonucci leaving in a stretcher in the 18th minute and coming back on with a bandage on his knee.*

The first chance of the half occurred within two minutes. Sebastian Giovinco made a beautiful run, cutting first inside then back out before firing his shot at the Napoli goal. Morgan De Sanctis could only push the ball away, but fortunately for the visitors, Paolo Cannavaro and Hugo Campagnaro were on hand to clear.

Giovinco had another chance before 15 minutes were up. He went one on one with the Napoli keeper, forcing another save from De Sanctis. But before anyone could pounce on the loose ball, play was halted for Giovinco's foul on De Sanctis.

Napoli's best chance came in the 26th minute, after Arturo Vidal brought down Gokhan Inler, just barely outside the area. Edinson Cavani stepped up for the free kick and went for goal, but his spectacular shot only managed to hit the upright.

In added time, Claudio Marchisio very nearly gave Juventus the lead. Stephan Lichtsteiner muscled his way through the partenopei defense before sending the ball on to Marchisio, who let lose with a screamer of a shot. De Sanctis managed to tip it above the crossbar, preserving the 0-0 scoreline.

*to be clear, this was a rare occasion that didn't involve a Napoli player clattering into the opposition. Bonucci seemed to land wrong after challenging for a header.

Juventus Vs. Napoli: Lineups for the Partenopei

Napoli head into the match in Turin with all of their favorite players available. In other words, Walter Mazzarri's side will have no excuses if they fail to pick up any points against Juventus. The only slight surprise is the use of Alessandro Gamberini in defense. Salvatore Aronica has fallen out of favor -- finally -- but Federico Fernandez has made a good case for starting. Still, he's better directly center, and he won't nudge out Paolo Cannavaro.

It's Goran Pandev that starts just behind Edinson Cavani, but look for Lorenzo Insigne to come on if things get tough. And don't be surprised if Mazzarri just throws every attacker he's got on to the pitch by the end.

Napoli Starting XI:Morgan De Sanctis, Hugo Campagnaro, Paolo Cannavaro, Alessandro Gamberini, Christian Maggio, Marek Hamsik, Gokhan Inler, Valon Behrami, Camilo Zuniga, Goran Pandev, Edinson Cavani

Substitutes (from): Antonio Rosati, Gianluca Grava, Salvatore Aronica, Bruno Uvini, Blerim Dzemaili, Marco Donadel, Giandomenico Mesto, Andrea Dossena, Federico Fernandez, Lorenzo Insigne, Edu Vargas

Juventus Vs. Napoli: Lineups for The Old Lady

Juventus head into the match against Napoli with two key players missing. Gianluigi Buffon is out with a thigh strain picked up on international duty, while Mirko Vucinic apparently contracted the plague while in Ukraine with Montenegro. It's Marco Storari that will deputize between the sticks, while Fabio Quagliarella comes in for Vucinic. Last time Quags partnered Sebastian Giovinco, Juventus struggled. The result? Their only draw, a goalless affair with Fiorentina.

Of course, if that pair doesn't work out, the Old Lady can always turn to Alessandro Matri or Nicklas Bendtner. Clearly it's the midfield that Napoli will fret over, not the forwards. Claudio Marchisio, Arturo Vidal and Andrea Pirlo can terrify almost any side.

Juventus Starting XI: Marco Storari, Andrea Barzagli, Leonardo Bonucci, Giorgio Chiellini; Stephan Lichsteiner, Arturo Vidal, Andrea Pirlo, Claudio Marchisio, Kwadwo Asamoah; Fabio Quagliarella, Sebastian Giovinco

Substitutes (from): Rubinho, Laurențiu Brănescu, Lucio, Nicklas Bendtner, Alessandro Matri, Emanuele Giaccherini, Martin Caceres, Paul Pogba, Mauricio Isla, Luca Marrone, Simone Padoin
